Interesting movie. It deals with Jon's addiction to porn but I wonder if Barbara wasn't also addicted to chick-flicks. He finds something that he felt was lacking in his sexual life while watching porn, and to some extent he seemed to be trying to live one of his porn movies, but wasn't Barbara doing the same?
The effects and creatures do seem a bit, hum... kitsch? But the story is so good. I really need to read the book.

Apparently this movie made my brother pick up running. Yes, it takes a movie to learn that my brother is expecting a zombie apocalypse... and he's training to survive it.
It might not be the most spectacular plot, but boy it does have spectacular gory stuff and so much humor! xD
I didn't fell in love with it at first sight (ahah!) but it grew on me and now I love it and need to watch it everytime I see it on TV. Love every bit of it, the actors, the original words by Shakespeare even if the setting is the 90's, the soundtrack. Boy, how I love the soundtrack.
Okay, I was a bit afraid of this movie since it was promoted as "the greatest Disney Animated event since The Lion King" and I love The Lion King, love like it's the best animated movie of all time for me, so yeah, I was trying not to keep my hopes up so not to be disappointed. But then I heard Let It Go and it wouldn't get out of my head, and yeah, I really had to watch it. And it was great! The animation is really nice, the songs are really something, the humour had me in stitches, but I kinda wished this was more Elsa's story rather than Anna's. It should have been Elsa saving Anna, and so learning how to control her powers and not just "what? love? why didn't you said so before?!" and in an instant Elsa's able to control her powers, not the other way around, but yay for sister love!
It's a nice movie, really good animation and engaging story.
Not as funny as I was hoping but it's a great portrait of portuguese emmigrants in France. At least I did recognize some of the traits in some of my family and people I know have emmigrated not only to France but also to Germany. The Cayenne had me laughing so much, I mean I haven't seen anyone driving one from France to Portugal, but if it had been a BMW or a Mercedes it would be perfection. :D
I was really enjoying this movie up until the end. Yes, it's been done before, the characters are a bit cliché but I was really into the story of those people, learning that a loved one has cancer and how said person coped with it. And then the end was... happy. Maybe it's me, who would want someone to die of such disease when it's way better to beat the odds. But I know the odds suck and I'm happy for those who beat them, but I just wanted to see something more in this movie.

I've seen this movie years ago and only remembered bits of it. It's a good movie though it lacks some context, but then it's an animated movie, why the hell would you want to learn about the Crusades and such?
It's funny, the songs are catchy but it is all too cheerful, even if the Nottingham citizens do pass a very difficult time (and it did reminded me of the state my own country is). I wouldn't mind it to be a little more dark, if you can call that to Robin or someone being injured, like the alternative ending. I liked it more than the actual ending, I mean at least it gives something to Maid Marian to do and explains the return of King Richard.
I've never seen this movie before. I don't know why but it seemed it would ever look dull by comparison with Beauty and the Beast. That just shows you how wrong I can be. :P I still prefer the latter but this one is a gorgeous movie (OMG the Cathedral!) as well and has a great strong female character. Why isn't Esmeralda a Disney princess? Hum?!
It has a darker tone than usual, and it is sexy, something I wasn't expecting. The gargoyles are funny and the songs didn't do that much for me apart from "God Help the Outcasts", "Hellfire" and "Someday". I've loved "Someday" for ages, since I heard it by Celtic Woman, how was it possible that I didn't knew it was from this movie?!
I know... It is a bad movie, filled with clichés and so predictable. But it was fun! And it has blood and entrails, and a girl kicking ass. How was I suppose not to like it?
But yeah, the CGI seemed a bit sketchy and the plot could be something better. I did like Gretel's character, it seemed somewhat feminist, and it was interesting to see Hansel with diabetes.
I love this movie. It's probably the best movie ever made after The Lion King. The story is beautiful, the first 10 minutes alone, telling the story of Carl and Ellie, have me crying. In 10 minutes it is told the most beautiful love story I've ever seen and it portrays so beautifully everything one looks for, to find and spend the rest of one's life with someone. To have a great adventure next to someone, with no regrets even if dreams were unfulfilled. And how having a heart broken, someone so important taken away, and to find others that again complete us. Such a beautiful message.
It felt like Finding Nemo meets The Lion King but not really that interesting, funny or remarkable.
One knows how it ends, at least if you're familiar with Jane Austen's life, but still one hopes she has an ending like that of her heroines. Anne Hathaway was perfect in her part and McAvoy is always great.
I'm not sure of the day I saw it but I really enjoyed the movie. The social dynamics of the world, how one man defies destiny and his place on a society by becoming something larger than expected. It's a nice movie on how dreams have such a strength that leads one to beat the odds and defy what is expected of him.
I guess I would have found it funny if I was younger or was in the mood for it.

My brother loves this movie, it's one of his guilty pleasures apparently, but unfortunately I don't share the feeling. It was boring and in the end I was hoping she would slap him for lying to her and so obviously manipulate her, not say "I wanted it to be you. I wanted it to be you so badly." rolls eyes
But then, it could be me and my dislike for the actors. I don't really get all the fuss about them. :/
Really liked it. It was funny, I specially enjoyed the interaction between Loki and Thor. It's somewhat predictable, but then which superhero movie isn't? The plot revolving Midgard wasn't so dull as the first, and it was really funny. Did I mentioned it was funny?
Such a wonderful film. One of my favourite Disney movies. I love the story and the songs even if now I do find it a bit unrealistic. I mean, a Beast? :D But yay for redemption and for love that isn't at first sight, for loving what a person is and becomes despite the appearance.

I'm in love with the three movies. This one was, again, a great portrait of a relationship. Now there's no casual meeting, Celine and Jesse have been sharing a life together but it's no bed of roses. Problems arise as well as self-doubt and even second guessing the choices one has made up until that moment. And yet it still manages to be romantic while showing the effort both have to put on the relationship for it to work.
I've only seen it because my brother said I would love the end since it was "epic" (his word) and there was a bit of bromance, but I had to endure an hour and a half of crude jokes. But yeah, the end and Emma Watson's cameo were really worth the crude jokes.
Not really a Formula 1 fan but knew some bits about the story since my dad and brother are fans. I quite liked it, specially how fatefully it seemed to portray the 70's, from the wardrobe to the soundtrack and the image.
It did seemed rushed (ahah!) and I think that "6 years before" was too vague. Dates would have helped to better understand how the career of those too progressed up until the moment in which the story starts.
