i'm really stoked for this one
This show is beyond saving at this point
Fairy Tail combined with outer space, what could go wrong? Well... a lot apparently.
The protagonists are carbon copies of their Fairy Tail counterparts, albeit with even more fanservice. The antagonists are as flat as a pancake, their only personality trait being that they are perverts. The story itself just doesn't make sense and feels more like a disjointed collection of uninteresting events instead of a cohesive story. The powers are mostly pretty boring and the sub-par animation doesn't help. The only redeeming factor this show has is that the worldbuilding can be interesting at some points, with some interesting worlds and images. But even this is nowhere near the level of shows that excel in this ascept such as One Piece.
Of course Fairy Tail itself isn't a great show by any means, but I at least hoped to find some of the enjoyment I found there in this show. That wasn't the case.
I have never thought I'd be THIS invested in a sports show but here we are.
This adaptation: 4/10
One Pace: 8/10
crying in the club rn
i want my 40 minutes back
probably the funniest anime i've ever seen. love this show.
Mixed feelings. One one hand I love the cinematography on display in some sequences, also really love some of the set design and props. But my god this is all just so boring. Maybe I'm just too mentally checked out of the MCU at this point to really enjoy it.
This season added a lot of weight to the first, elevating the entire show as a result. I can't wait to see where Thorfinn takes this story next.
Full show: 4/10
Show without "anime-canon" material and other fillers: 8/10
pretty good pilot but god the bear and wolf look absolutely atrocious
one of my favorite shonens from recent times
damn... this turned upside down fast lol
love the worldbuilding so far
I hate chocho so much holy shit
Book Two of The Legend of Korra was a solid season, not as good as the first trilogy, but definetely on par with book one.
The plot was good, it started out slowly but I didn't mind that too much. I LOVED the two episodes about the first avatar, they were amazing. The season ended well too and I'm exited to see where they will take it the next season.
The newly introduced characters were very nice (except the main villain). I Loved Varrick. But as I said the main villain, Unalaq felt kinda empty and cliche. Also Korra was REALLY annoying the first few episodes, but thankfully that turned around. The romance between Mako, Asami and Korra felt really forced and unnecessary, I would've preferred it if they just left that out. I did really like the character developement of the three kids of Aang. I also loved how badass Jinora this season, in season one she was kinda irrelevant but in this season she turned into one of my favorite characters.
In short, solid season, definetely watch. 8/10
:)
I overall did not like this season very much, too much illogical things going on to make an excuse for the development of the plot, also I did not like the amount of betrayals, there were simply too much of them and it made the plot hard to follow and understand at points. I did really like the ending of the season though, it was very well made.
This series is really good, my favorite of all time. But that's probably because it's been a big part of my childhood.
I still recommend you to watch, or at least try it. :)
I haven't laughed this much watching anime since I saw Saiki K. Great pilot episode!
Every time that fucking Imagine Dragons song plays I lose a little more respect for this show
The atmosphere, story and mystery of the show are quite good and intriguing (though predictable at times). But what keeps this season from being great for me are the characters. There are just too many of them, not all of them are interesting and actually likable characters are few and far between.
I enjoy these slower, character based episodes way more than the action focussed, fighty episodes tbh (especially when Takemichi takes the backseat and side characters get to shine)
God I wish shows like this were made more often
also why can't I stop thinking about the roman empire
The only thing holding me back from loving this show is Takemichi's endless crying
this show would've been so good without the god awful cgi
man the cgi action looks so horrible, it really is a shame because i can tell the choreography and gory stuff could all be really good if animated well. now i just can't get into it
wow some parts of this almost weren't awful
The first half is quite good but from the point where sakuragi dies it really feels like the story goes nowhere.
