guys why are we rating a show based on its trailer
also the new voices are good.
new trailer just dropped and it sounds like garbage... we want J.R. back!
I wanted to hate this season, I couldn't, it was good.
The voices were good too, I stopped paying attention to them after 10 minutes.
Missing Justin Roiland though.
Roiland’s departure can only be felt in the voice acting. The new actors achieved a striking resemblance with the original voices, and it’s only a matter of episodes until they sound natural to the fans. At times you can barely notice the difference. Although the writing team is mostly the same of the last few seasons, it somewhat felt like this time they were doing all they could to keep the fanbase on board. This manifests in a return to the series' earlier tropes, a nostalgic nod to what initially captivated fans. The result is, again, hit and miss. Some episodes stand out as contenders for one of the best (episode 4), while some some are probably going to enter history as some of the worst ever (episode 8).
The most uneven season so far. The highs were high and the lows were very low. No middle ground.
I forgot what original voice even sounded like by the 4th episode.
A bit inconsistent in terms of episodes, but overall this is another good season of the show. It just knows how to deliver entertainment value and such clever stories while maintaining its own unique voice. Good character work for both Rick and Morty this season as well, and the finale capped things off with maybe the best episode of the season.
