Who is writing this crap? It's absolute hot garbage.
For example the garbage truck attack on the savior compound... Who were the snipers covering Daryl from? How were the walkers supposed to get in with the garbage truck still in the hole? Why was it gone from the hole when they are seen entering?
Or, when Rick had the garbage patch kids' leader. There was no threat there, the zombie was decapitated and Rick had no weapon on her. Why wouldn't one of the 20 people surrounding him with guns just kill him?

@kanootcha The snipers were covering Daryl from the Saviors that would shoot from the windows (as they did). The hope with the truck was that it would make a hole somewhat bigger than it is, which did happen, and the walkers got in through the small opening in between the wall and the truck. As for Rick and the woman with her people, had they wanted to kill him, they'd not keep him locked up and then release the walker to play around with. They'd just shoot him in the head after his initial proposal. So of course it wasn't something they were interested in.

@rosetheflower I didn't see anyone shooting from the windows or anywhere else, maybe I'll have to rewatch (haha, as if).
So you're saying the garbage people thing was a theater, and that no one meant to threaten or kill anyone it was just brinkmanship and games? In that case it could have been written a whole lot better (if the writers were half good).
The show has gone down the toilet this season (even more than last season which was teetering on the rim), nothing is believable or even interesting. It seems to me like they get a bunch of people in their writing room who toss out a few ill-conceived set-pieces and try to weave a story around them. The fact that they can't seem to run multiple stories in the same episode and have vast runs of episodes where a story is left untouched is testament to the lack of skill TWD has in their writing department.
