[7.2/10] Not bad. I like the fact that Charlie and Dee got caught up in one scam, and Dennis and Mac were caught in another, only for the two scams to collide in spectacular fashion. Pyramid schemes and timeshares are good targets, and involving Ben the Soldier and Roddy Piper worked really well with the former’s dopeyness and the latter’s utter insanity.

I wasn’t a big fan of Charlie and Dee’s video, though the two of them trying and failing to sell to Ben and The Maniac had its moments. I enjoyed the obliviousness Mac and Dennis thinking they’re sharp but getting completely swindled by the timeshare/invogoron guy much better. Though the four of them trying to give Ben PTSD flashbacks felt like empty line-crossing for the sake of line-crossing. Piper was great though.

My favorite part of the episode was Frank. For one thing, I love the absurdity of him being caught in the coil at the playground in his underwear. It’s just an inherently ridiculous thing. But I liked it even more when the rest of The Gang got double-swindled by the Invogoron guy, only to assume it was part of some mastermind plan by Frank (as is so often the case on this show) only for the episode to reveal that no, the idiot just got himself stuck in a coil. A nice comic note to go out on.

Overall, a funny but not stupendous episode that plays on the unrealized stupidity of our heroes.
