@abtr yeah exactly I always see him as a whiner :grin::grin:
@abtr I know a lot of viewers today see him as a "whiner" and find him the least likeable Friend. I never saw him that way and still don't, to me I've always found him the funniest for that reason! His opening "hi.."s and his mannerisms make me laugh! It's all part of why his character is funny. I always shipped Ross and Rachel a ton but now I'm older I definitely see the whole "we were on a break" as way harsher. They had so many "almost" moments in the first season, it made a lot of people root for them. Especially as they were both so unlucky in love. I don't find Ross annoying but each to their own!

Basically I can't understand how anyone ever shipped Ross and Rachel. He's such a whiner. I'm pretty sure, by today's standards he'd be universally hated, but clearly the 90's were a different time. Or maybe he gets less annoying with time, who knows.
