Vampire arrogance from The Original meets pretty girl trying to escape her fate from Buffy. Mixed with terrible acting, slow world building, uninteresting characters and on-the-nose exposition for the "stupid" audience, not able to solve 1+1.
Yet I watched much worse but nahhh, this pilot didn't convince me at all.
