Jack: “The silver and the holy water didn’t do anything, so she’s not a demon”
Dean: “Where are you?”
Jack: “Because Harper is not a monster, and I’m 99% sure she’s in love with me”
Dean: That’s not how it works, kid”
Jack: “Okey, but she was looking at me with these googly eyes, and then she asked me…
Dean: “Look, I promise you that Harper Sayles is not in love with you, okay?” Would you calm down?”
Jack: “Okay. But is she is, I need to know everything about sex. GO!”

Seriously, Jack is the sweetest, most innocent thing I’ve ever seen in my life. He’s absolutely adorable. His awkward hunting is my new favourite thing. When he got all confused and flustered when Harper was hitting on him, he was super adorable.

This episode was one of the cheesiest and weird freaking episodes. I mean cheesy in a good way, because it provided with a few laughs. As soon as the episode was over, I went online to find out who the hell directed the episode. Then I realized it was Richard Speight Jr. and I understood a lot of things.

The first few minutes of the episode were so campy and weird, I even wondered if that was Supernatural. The guy with the stapler at the beginning, jeez. What the hell was that?

Music cues have been an on-off thing lately this season, but when the Bee Gees’ “Staying Alive” played, I lost it. Never thought I’d live to see that song being used in Sueprnatural.

This season is been quite weird so far. Although I appreciate an episode in which character development is at point, I’m still pissed off by the lack of plot development this entire season. I really enjoyed this double MoTW episode, especially Jack and Dean’s partnership, which was something I’ve been waiting since forever. I haven’t seen what next episode is going to be about, but I’d love to see what the hell Nick’s been going on about and what the hell Michael is cooking.

So far, I think I’ll just sit and wait until Sam, Dean, Cas and Jack go on a hunt together, like they did last season when we got Cas back. Also, I’m dying to see the dynamic between Jack and Nick.

There was something about that Harper girl that I really liked. It was too obvious that she was either going to end up being the monster or to be Jack’s love interest. But that girl was way too crazy. “I’m sorry I have to kill you for what you did to Vance, but then I can bring you back so that we can be together again. It’s gonna be…perfect”.

I think it’s poetic if you look at it. The first girl Jack likes and turns out to be an insane killer. Definitely fits the Winchester profile. In fact, if you think about it, dating a necromancer is not that bad, if you consider the amount of death surrounding the Winchester family. Some would say, it can even be a good insurance policy.

If there was one scene that made me died of laughing was the one with Jack and Harper at her apartment. Jack’s awkward hunting technique is something I want to see in every single episode. Whose idea was it to let Jack go undercover alone? And since when is Dean not able to charm a woman? Is that because he’s an old man now, as Jack says? Lol.

Jack: “Hey, uh, do you mind. proceeds to leave a coin on the floor Is it okay to ask you about the guy who was hassling you at the library?” takes a bottle of holy water out and rubs his hands with it.
Harper: “Oh, recently a boy I knew or was starting to know passed away. It was terrible. The authorities have been asking a lot of questions, but I don’t know anything, and I’m a pretty private person, so… It’s been a little difficult.
Jack: “That’s awful about your friend”
Harper: “Is this yours?”
Jack: “Oh, sorry. I must’ve dropped that”
Harper: “Your hand is wet”
Jack: (awkward chuckle) cough “Christo” cough
Harper: “Did you say something?”
Jack: “No. I’m just nervous”.

Damn, the Christo part got me in stitches. How long since they have used that word before? That definitely goes to the list of “Things that would make the Wnchesters job easier”.

Overall, Dean and Jack’s plot was fun as hell. I loved Dean’s “oh, no. You didn’t say that” look when he got called old man by Jack. I loved his reaction when Jack went off script. His reaction was on point. Too perfect.

The whole Charlie and Sam hunting stuff was weird as hell. Those fly-man hybrid thingies. Jesus, what the hell? I have so many questions about them. How the hell does a Musca even survive in the real world? So weird, yet funny at the same time. However, that scene with Sa’s voiceover while the fly family was collecting the deceased fly-man was so weird to watch.

That scene with Dean and Jack talking about Sam not allowing Jack to go on hunts and Dean saying “He’s a smart guy”, only to cut that scene to Charlie and Sam in a truck with Sam playing with his fidget spinner. Comedy gold! I really do love this type of humour.

I love that these past few episodes, they’re trying to make both Alt-Bobby and Alt-Charlie different to their earth 1 counterparts. They have similar background stories, yet different at the same time. It is a bit weird for me to see them there and not think about their prime characters. Although Alt-Charlie is really different. She lacks our Charlie’s smirky way of talking. I’m guessing new Charlie will soon visit this earth’s Kara.

“How many books are you reading?” “All of them”. Me too, Charlie. Me, too.

I’m glad Jack’s illness got finally addressed. I just hope that ray of sunshine is okay. Now, talk of a cliffhanger. If they hurt that sweetie I swear I lose it. Also, Jack saying “hunting buddies” was so cute and adorable.
