WOW!! Yeah, Hawaii is life in paradise, but it can come at a steep price if you happen to build in the wrong place. That woman whose tiny home survived, when 700 of her neighbors were wiped out, has got to have tremendous survivors guilt. And, I wonder if she's gonna pull up stakes now, or wait for the next one?"

Haha. Yeah. Did you ever see that movie Escape Room? Talk about survivors issues. You watch a lot of real life stuff that I would find difficult to stomach! That Botched show looks kinda depressing! I like stories that have long story arcs over time.

I did get your latest email. Thanks! I appreciated it. I will try to reply soon. Been busy. Music grant stuff and some Switzerland stuff. Lately I end up deleting my paragraphs if I try to write too much about it. I'm unable to find the proper words except when I work on this surrealist text for a music piece. The characters have names like OssitraitorLessMore, Blue. Tryme, Lulu, Cryo, Celan, Bobbi, Lalaland.... There's a whole cast of families involved in the writing, but each character is a reference. I actually find when I confine myself to a narrative, it can become less effective. I'm not sure yet whether I'll go more narrative or less narrative. And the music-- I have no idea where to go with the flavor of the music for this one. I've done some experiments, but they were all missing something.

I must say tho, you did a decent job of decoding, even without the decoder ring ;)

@dewdropvelvet -No, I didn't watch Escape Room, though I may catch it when it comes out on video. Already have my ticket for Captain Marvel though, so, looking forward to that. No, Botched isn't depressing, as, other those I call the "crazy of the week", the outcomes are overwhelmingly happy, which, is oddly satisfying, knowing that these people, who were dealt a crap hand, often by so called professionals who supposedly took an oath to "do no harm". Thanks to the next level skills of two doctors who actually DO give a damn about their patients. And there are also often interesting observations to be made about the human condition, as, many of the patients with self inflicted (sought after) surgeries that ended up "botched" actually looked good or even better PRE surgery than after. Or, the cumulative effects over a course of repeated attempts at achieving perfection with a minds eye that is obviously compromised, and somewhat myopic or dysmorphic. Others were just a victim of chance, in a bad accident or born the way they are. Seeing them freed from the prison of their own self consciousness is an affirming thing to behold.
