@nancy-l-draper well they're really stretching out a book that just wasn't that long (~400 pages). a single season (a mini-series in other words) could have easily covered the whole thing and the pacing would have been better.

@nancy-l-draper the whole first season was nothing but a glorified introduction, so I'm not expecting that the second season will pick up the pace. The show seems to be just like this, slow paced and devoid of any exciting build-up.

It felt like a space filler until the final scenes. I binge watched the first season and I don't think I can hang in there with this as an episodic release. It needs to get where it is going much faster.
