"We are all lonely. Because we are all alone. From ant to lion to human to angel. Every last one of us" -Anael.

Pure words. Saying I loved it falls utterly short.

Those Anael/Cas scenes. Perfection. I liked the character played by Daneel Ankles, but tonight, she cemented on me, although I don't quite understand why she was so desperate for the earrings. The callbacks to Joshua made me remember "Dark Side of the Moon". Also, the "Samulet". I wasn't expecting God to answer Cas' call, but I expect him soon this season. Besides, we all know God didn't answer because Cas didn't call him Chuck, lol.

What an episode! The last one wasn't really great, but this one was full of tension, twists and everything that makes SPN great.

The intro scene with Donatello worried me. I've grown fond of the character and I'd hate anything bad happening to him. I love to see that losing his soul didn't take away his love of music and cooking skills. Those cookies looked delicious.

I'm one of those who didn't understand Mary's character since she got back, but got the emotional impact on the boys. The minute she said "I'm grateful for the time we have" I knew it was over. As much as I don't understand what Mary's storyline was (besides lying and romance) I just hope she's ok. Not for her own sake, but for the emotional impact and whatnot it'll be to the boys. That would be the beginning of the end.

She continually telling Jack to stop got irritaring, that and talking to him when it was obvious it was not a good time. Jack was a ticking bomb. He was hearing angel voices (were they?) and she kept on trying. Yeah, it was brutal and sadistic, but if she'd seen what he did to her boys, maybe she would've changed her mind.

Speaking of Nick. Holy Moly Mark Pellegrino! He steals every scene he's in. I got tired of the whole Lucifer stuff, but having Mark P. on the show should be compulsory. He plays a mean villain and a psycho so damn great. I loved him since the beginning of the season but what the hell? He's bananas. What kind of asshole tries to resurrect the devil?

The scene when Nick headbutted Jack was confusing for me. In the heat of the moment I wasn't sure if Jack headbutted him or if Jack's nose started bleeding out of anger.

Honest question, why does Luci look like The Terminator? Since they growing low on lore, maybe next season we see the boys fighting The Terminator!

The special effects this episode were amazing. Nick being burned, Empty-Lucifer oiled figure and the wings. Amazing!
I didn't expect Nick to die and after that ending, I don't expect him to be dead anymore. Jack being so confused and misunderstood is gonna push him to resurrect Nick. Maybe those angelic screetches were Michael or Lucifer on his head. Or maybe we'll see a hallucination. I don't see a way in which Jack tells the boys he killed Mary by accident and they understand. Neither Sam, Dean or Cas would, and therefore, he'd have to look for someone who does. Ergo, Lucifer.
Nick saying "Come on Sam, no one stays dead anymore. You should know that" was an ominous sign. He's gonna come back soon. I feel it. The meta-ness was strong there.

I'm glad they're finally taking head injuries seriously. Up to this point, we shouldn't worry anymore, but no matter how many times the boys have died, I still get emotional. That scene reminded me to when the boys were in Alt!Universe and Sam died in the tunnels.

One thing I love is the amazing voicemails. Nothing will ever top Cas' (or Crowley's) but I loved the callback to John in Sam's one: "If this is an emergency, call my brother".

3 episodes to go and emotions on edge. I somehow expect Mary's ok. I can't imagine what I'd be for the boys (especially Dean) to lose their mum again.
