I must admit this is one of my favorite TNG episodes. Extremly well written and carried by the great performances of Stewart and Sloyan. And of course we meet Tomalak again, whos cleverly constructed and layed out ploy, is swarted by Picard in the final minute. Which is of course to be expected. Upon watching this for the first time I really hadn't a clue how the Enterprise will get out of this. But even after watching it repeatedly, the satisfaction at the end of this episode stays the same. And it wouldn't be Star Trek if we didn't get some deeper meaning out of it all. Sometimes it takes just the courage of one to start a change.
