Didn't that planet have an unbreathable athmosphere in Episode 1?
Pretty obvious mistake - especially for a show meant to be binged...

Also: "Make sure you have no metal in your pockets" while wearing clothes with metal zippers...

@player8472 They never return to the planet from the first chapter, the water planet of methane, which had the waterfall, where you could not breathe and which was the one that coincided with the symbol engraved in "Robot". Check again which planet they're headed to to save "Scarecrow".

@sethnet If they were headed to another planet, the writers did a poor job, telling their audience.

@player8472 On the first planet the ring is below sea level, in the waterfall that forms in the middle of the sea on a water planet. "Robot" shows both its glyph and the "Scarecrow" glyph to Will Robinson to point out that they are different and therefore different planets. Will Robinson himself says that then they have to go to the "amber planet". In the pictures you can clearly see that when you go to the alien ring it is on land, not under water. In fact, the same ring has been shown before because it is the planet of rust. And there's even a radar image showing that when the colonists' ships leave that planet, Jupiter 2 is arriving.

And yet you haven't been able to understand it, and you blame the writers? ROFL

@player8472 Having just binged it, it was very clear they were heading to a different planet.

@elicx well you clearly missed something. Will brought the scarecrow to the same planet he found the first robot. The planets' atmosphere didn't change yet the looks of it did because of the black hole that was in the vicinity.

@sviestainis No, the planet he took Scarecrow to was a different one. There is literally a whole scene making a point where Robot tells Will that Scarecrow needs to go a different planet which is where scarecrow is from, and not the planet he found Robot on. You should watch it again if you seriously missed everything about it being a new planet.

@player8472 Will takes Scarecrow to the same planet we've been visiting all season long, once they left the water/methane planet. They mention earlier in the season that this planet ALSO has the ring like the one they found at the beginning of the season.
