People just like to throw everything 1’s on here. The late Robert Forster (Jackie Brown) looks pretty well despite this being one of his last roles. So it’s hard to believe he died after filming this.
Anyway, the late fine actor shines here. This episode captures the wonder of the original series. Even more so than the first episode. The second one was just too in your face woke. Plus, realizing you’re gay and in love with your late best friend can bring them back to life ?
This episode at least reminded me of the show I grew up with. It’s a nice episode about a boy bonding with his grandfather over their love for comics and superheroes.

@jim222001 I agree, well said. This episode felt a lot more like the original show, it was very nice to relive that nostalgia. RIP Robert Forster!

Ah, the old cliché of using "woke" when you cannot imagine love beyond your own limited world view.
I imagine the next thing you're gonna say is something along the lines of "I'm not against gay people, but it has to 'fit the story'!"
