Entourage is a really quick and enjoyable watch, but that's really the biggest praise it can get. While it is consistently amusing, it often drags on a bit from season to season with repetitive plot points and minimal character development. Despite highly enjoying it, it was rarely laugh out loud funny, nor was the plot ever gripping. It often felt more like hanging out with a group of friends and retroactively hearing about their shenanigans while hoping for success in their endeavors. If you have seen Ballers, its essentially Ballers before Ballers and focused around television opposed to football. Is it worth checking out? Absolutely. But don't plan to get heavily invested, and just enjoy the show for what it is. It is a show that "more" people will like (quantity wise), than it will be a show that people will praise for being one of their all time favorites.
