The part with Alex was sweet. I think that Ben should have just blackmailed the principal to write the glowing recommendation for Alex as well, it's not like the principal had any choice. I also really liked Ben's speach for the reason why he killed Jacob, it was brilliantly acted by Michael Emerson.
And that was directed by Mario Van Peebles, job well done!
