Terrible adaptation of terrific book. Interesting, delightful Book characters, especially Kriezler, Roosevelt, and Sarah, are converted into boring, at times even unpleasant, characters. I highly recommend the book itself, along with the sequel Angel of Darkness. Just heard that there's another book in the series coming out, too, The Alienist at Armageddon.
