I am conflicted. This finale reminded me of Scandal. Both shows should have ended a couple seasons before, because absolutely no twist was surpising anymore. So goes life in Shondaland, I assume.

The first season of the show, and even the second one, were amazing. It's sad to see how a show with such a great potential became so disappointing. On the other end, I must say that Connor and Oliver might be one of the rare interesting LGBTQ couples on TV, evolving from being a basic stereotype to something meaninful and even inspiring. That is the key element of a Shonda show: secondary characters can be hidden treasures and steal the show. Maybe we could expect a spin-off in a few years? I'd be totally on board.

Also. For all TV show producers out there: please, please trop the "19 years later" scenes. It worked brilliantly in Six Feet Under. It stopped working since then. By the way, for everyone saying that HTGAWM has the best series finale in History, I kindly invite you to (re)watch this gem.
