It's pretty standard but it's pretty fun. If you're the guy who's only interested in the caviar of anime then this won't whet your whistle. It's more of the same of the mass produced anime by numbers: common themes with a little fan service. However, its likable, fun, and perfectly fine to turn off your brain. Despite being par for the course, I'm looking forward to season 2.
