We already went through this dilemma when Lionel went blind! Operate and risk the person’s life or do nothing and let them be blind/cripple, I don’t remember Lex’s choice but I remember everything was very dramatic. And not an awful episode but this is the downside of making holiday episodes, that 15 years later someone is gonna be watching in the middle of a global pandemic and october is still too soon for christmas episodes.
