Only a few minutes into the episode and the writing and acting is so bad I can hardly continue.
So it only takes a few keystrokes to bypass incredibly important security and encryption for things like weapons (even on an alien system that should be incomprehensible) but there is a mystery about the encrypted author of a holo-novel? What complete and utter BS.
And Tom says he has to be back on the bridge in an hour but spends over an hour in the brig on the holodeck? WTF?
The failure of Tom and Tuvok to immediately kill Seska after getting phasers blows my mind. Instead they stand around and wait for Seska to do something, like say, start a self destruct sequence?
While I loved the character of Seska, her recurring appearance in ever more unlikely places has already become tiresome. The writers of Voyager really should be ashamed, though they are well beyond the capabilities of the CBS Star Trek writers.
