Despite John being the main character, Dorian and Rudy were the definite highlights of this show.
The way Michael Ealy portrayed Dorian was excellent, at times managing to make me believe that he was a robot in human flesh, his conflicting emotions always appearing real but not real enough. He walked that thin line so many times during those 13 episodes, brilliantly mixing the stern look of robots with the "fake" emotion of humans, and came victorious at the end of each of them. I would have loved more episodes, if only for the joy to see him do this again and again.
