I feel like this season they're writing Charlie to be a lot more prominent and sort of openly intelligent. I mean he was always street smart and I considered him the smartest of the bunch, but that was always more implicit rather than blatantly shown to us. I wonder if that's a more permanent character development.. Either way it's nice to see more charlie exposition that isn't about elusive love.
