While I enjoyed the take on a completely different world getting helped by the one portrayed in this show, I can’t stop thinking about how is it that one person from a village somewhere in Africa gets saved and it’s such a big deal, but hundreds of thousands of other African kids out there will never get even the glimpse of that kind of chance. Good for publicity, sure. Save one kid in a decade and the press praises you. It’s so hypocritical.
