“What are you two, 80?”

Unpopular opinion but this episode felt like a filler to me:

  • Didn't care about the detective's backstory. She and her wife have absolutely no chemistry. The only interesting part of this storyline is why are police brass desperate to close the investigation?

  • I didn't like that Nathan Lane (an American) is playing a Greek man. At least, he didn't have a horrible accent and made a reference to the Greek genocide by the Turks :flag_tr:. Finally, someone somewhere brings that up. The show is definitely going to be censored in Turkey, because this country just can't come to terms with its brutal past. The culture of denial is not limited to this issue though. Turkey has a brutal history of nationalism and genocide but we shouldn’t mention it because Turks are offended by this fact.

  • I'm not a fan of Mabel and Oscar together. In my opinion, they don't have chemistry. Also, it's strange that he's interested in her when he was with Zoe before he went to jail. And I don't really care for him as a character, which is weird, considering he is supposed to be such a big part of the plot.

  • I didn't care for Mabel's mom, I think she is unnecessary to the plot. Oops. :(

  • Charles and Oliver's dynamic was brilliant, as always. The best part of this show for sure. That's why I prefer Mable with them over her and Oscar.

  • One thing the show has been consistently doing is offering more questions than answers. Which is great, but at the same time, I didn't expect it would be so agonizing to read the fan theories.
