A very different anthology Horror with stories about monstrosities that aren't what you'd expect. "Tales From the Hood" is harsh and features terrible people doing horrible things. Through the first half of the movie it played like typical Horror, but as it neared it's conclusion, it turned into a shocking and brutal movie.
This is filled with social commentary and is loaded with stories where the bad guys are punished for their evil ways. The vengeance of the victimized is paid in full here and the ending is shocking and vicious. I did not have much fun watching this, and to the film maker's credit, I think that was the goal.
