Don't Look Up 2021

"Maybe it's enough to be so disgustingly friendly. Maybe you don't have to be witty, charming and pleasant all the time, sometimes you need to be able to say something to each other and hear the other!"

Yes, the film is not perfect, however, this humanistic satire of absurdity is incredibly reprehensible, and if the first half of the film only immersed in the concept of the perception of the information flow, then the second clearly depicts, first of all, the human nature, political attitude, and only to match the high-tech progress - a new generation. It is interesting that in addition to this, the film raises the already obsolete topics of the Internet, which sometimes make you sick, but in the film it looks absurdly appropriate and only ironizes the current situation more. The second half is so rich in these elements that everything that happens makes the characters feel stupid, but in fact the film clearly demonstrates what can be observed even in the comments under this film.

In truth, the cast plays a very important role here - as an addition to the above, and I have no reason to deny the well-done work of the actors. The disclosure of the characters leaves much to be desired, however, a lot is not required for the plot. The finale of the picture came out logical and it is easy to guess what the message is going to. However, the post-credits scene is an incredibly stupid (in a good way) comparatively hyperbolic moment that may not be as funny, but it's definitely funny. But who am I saying this to? Everyone has their own data on the approaching "huge meteorite".
