Loved this, despite feeling reluctant at first. Didn't read the books, and the show doesn't inspire me to fill that gap at all. I didn't like Daphne AT ALL, nor visually, nor as a person, and I'd wish I didn't have to witness all her moanings. And the chemistry with Simon was so-so, although he himself was quite alright regardless. I understand that the actor doesn't want to continue with the project. Can't blame him, the pairing was really off. Still, I liked the concept, the writing, the music, and the staging overall, so I hope that the next season will be centered around other characters, mainly Anthony, Eloise, Benedict, and the Modiste. Oh, and the Queen, in her quest to unmask Lady Whistledown. And hope we'll see the future of the Featherington clan and Marina, of course.
