When you’re scrolling on Netflix and see a Mark Wahlberg and Kevin Hart movie that you’ve never heard of, you instantly know two things: 1.) You need to watch it (assuming you like either) 2.) It is probably a trash movie
This movie falls nicely into confirming the theories; however, I actually quite enjoyed it. The audience scores on it are awful. But I truly think that’s largely because expectations of these two are high and/or people love to hate their content. Is it worth recommending? Not at all. If it were, it would have gone to theaters. It is totally an average movie, with many generic plot points and some butt humor throughout. Is that for everyone? Nope. But it works for me, and if you have an interest in either lead, this is worthwhile for you to check out!
