The characters are so far pretty one dimensional so I find it hard to care about or relate to any of the characters in the show. Ward is this tough muscle guy with a typical villain origin story, Skye is supposed to be this competent main girl but instead she sounds like an arrogant person who thinks she is better than everyone else most of the time, Fitz and Simmons act like those typical Disney sidekicks, they are way too animated and impulsive which I sometimes find annoying, and May... I'm not sure what she is doing cuz I feel like the show is trying too hard to make her a badass, and I suppose she also has a backstory but all she does right now is blink slowly and clench her teeth when she talks, and it just comes off as bad acting.
The acting overall is not too good, especially the acting of the extras/guest stars, but what really put me off is how cringy some of the dialogues and scenes are, and I thought about dropping the show couple of times but the story and the dialogues started getting better towards the end of the season and I actually enjoyed some of the later episodes despite the forced and lazily done twists, which is why I'll still watch season 2.
