Velma 2023

I was thinking the same thing when I seen him listed in the cast. Funny I just finished an episode of IASIP.

@xenzio Because it's obviously going to be bad. Watching the trailer just makes you question every unnecessary decision they've made for this show (making Velma black, Shaggy black, Velma/ Daphne Lesbians etc.). Also given the backlash from fans regarding these useless changes instead of addressing these concerns they just talked shit about the people they want to watch the show despite being valid concerns, that isn't a very good sign for the quality of the show.

I'm all for having wider representation in media but when you unnecessarily reboot so much about well-known characters without any actual benefits to their development then what's the point? Honestly feels like they made these changes so they can say "look we're inclusive" without it actually having any beneficial factors.

@robmartin703 I watched the first two episodes (just haven't marked them watched on Trakt). My opinion stands after trying to watch the show.

@jlchamberlain It seemed like your review was made before the show was even available. If that is true, that is what I was pointing out. Just wait until the show is officially available before liking or hating is my point. Now, if I jumped the gun then apologies.
