Lindsay Lohan stars in the cheesy Netflix romantic comedy Falling for Christmas. Sort of a Christmas version of Overboard, a spoiled hotel heiress gets amnesia after hitting her head during a skiing accident and is found by a single father who takes her in and puts her to work at his B&B while she tries to get her memory back. All the acting is pretty bad (even Lohan is but a shadow of her former self) and the plot is painfully predictable with the most stereotypical characters possible. Yet it has a positive message about helping those in need and following one’s heart. Trite and cliché, Falling for Christmas is a poorly made film that doesn’t work.
