While the production itself is still very good the second season just wasn't as exciting as the first one. I feel like I've treaded water the whole time, waiting for a ship to come to pick me up. But it never came. While the arc for Freydis did somewhat close out within the season, both Harald and Leif fell in the background. They were pretty much traveling on the Love Boat to Konstantinopel for most of the season. It all seems to be kind of a precursor for things to be happen next season. But I wonder if we really needed a whole season to be prepare for that.
Well, time will tell. But while I was very exciting after the first season I'm less so after this one.
