Totally agree on how stupidly funny some scenes are!

Also agree on the screenplay/writing. It seems underdeveloped. I really hope Loveness can pull off Avengers: The Kang Dynasty…

@hgram twelve-year old written dialogue and an unnecessary plot = 8/10

@hgram Serious question, how can you say this is one of the best Marvel movies when you add in the con that the dialogue sounds like it's written by a 12 year old? Are you being satirical or do you actually believe it's an 8 out of 10 one of the best marvel flicks?

@kastell First of all, I never said it was one of the best Marvel movies - I said it was the best since No Way Home. I've rated 12 Marvel movies 8 or higher. I'd probably put this one around the 11 spot.

Secondly: We seem to have different expectations for Marvel movies. Personally, I've found very few of them to have a well-written, compelling plot. When I go to see The Whale or The Banshees of Inisherin, I'm expecting a well-crafted, moving story. When I go to see the latest Marvel movie, I'm expecting another episode of this crazy, high budget, neverending TV series.

Despite the obvious flaws - which I did not hesitate to point out - I still enjoyed this movie a lot. Personally, I rate movies based on how much I enjoy them. Hence the 8.

Not sure on excellent performances besides Majors and perhaps Rudd. The daughter (Newton) was the most annoying character in the movie, and Pfeiffer, Lily and Douglas being extremely disappointing.
