I don't really know what to make of this episode. It's one of the franchise's many "we're stuck in a void" and "we're in an alien zoo" episodes. Both concepts can make great episodes but this episode seems unpolished. It's also a mystery episode that I usually don't like. It explores Picard's superior intellect alright. And it reminds me why I dislike Pulaski. Why was she portrayed as such a horrible person?
Worse than mediocre. It feels like a leftover concept from one of TOS' countless demigod scripts. And that chimp? Come on, they can do better!
