[HBO Max] The tone of humor ends up highlighting how absurd some of the decisions made by the characters were, but sometimes it also seems to hide in a tone of satire the political conspiracies in a deranged government. Perhaps the comedy doesn't allow discerning to what extent the story is exaggerated or really was that chaotic, especially in the composition of Liddy's character as a kind of caricature. This feeling of not knowing what it wants to be ends up hurting the show so that it is truly enjoyable.
