After nearly 2 hours I was thinking about how can I rate this film 11/10 but after this cliffhanger bullshit just fuck you!

@krex They should have added "Part 1" to the title of the movie. I was also about to rate this movie 10/10 but I felt scammed at the end.

Yeah, because no amazing movie trilogy has ever ended the middle chapter on a cliffhanger. I mean, besides Lord of the Rings... And, I mean, Star Wars... Oh, and John Wick...and The Dark Knight... And Back to the Future... But besides those ones... Oh, and The Matrix... Avatar... Pirates of the Caribbean... The Bourne Supremacy...

@nerdygeekydude with the exception of the LOTR, all those movies work as standalone.

@the_argentinian Well that's just patently untrue. Empire Strikes Back ends with Luke getting the crap beat out of him and after he recovers they're going to go try to save Han. That's 100% a "To be continued..." The only reason it could work as a stand alone is because we already know that Luke rescues Han and brings Vader back to the light side and they successfully defeat the empire. If that movie never came out, it would have been extremely unsatisfying. Back to the Future ends with them saying he needs to time travel to 1885 to save Doc. Then it has a literal trailer for the next movie. Dead Man's Chest ends with all the heroes gathered together saying "Ok, let's go rescue Jack Sparrow." The Matrix Reloaded ends with Agent Smith finding a way to escape to the real world, and now we have the chosen one sitting on a bed right across from his mortal enemy. John Wick 2 ends with him getting shot and falling off of a building, and we have no idea what's going to happen next. Avatar 2 ends with Quaritch running away to regroup and Jake basically saying it's time to go to war with the humans. The Dark Knight and The Bourne Supremacy are probably the only ones on my entire list that don't end in a blatant "Come to the theater in 1-3 years to find out how this gets resolved" cliffhanger.

@nerdygeekydude the problem is that this wasn't announced as a two parter. And no, most people don't read reviews or interviews.
