I keep forgetting that Gabby is a co-owner of Molly's. She just never has anything to do with Molly's-related plots anymore. And like I said in the past, it doesn't even seem to be in her character to want to have entered that business arrangement in the first place. Honestly, if I was Herrmann, I'd probably be pretty pissed. He does like 80% of the work, Otis does like 20%, and Gabby never seems to do anything. But she still has a stake.
I had been wondering why the hell Matt and Gabby hadn't married already, because the whole conflict of interest issue with Matt being Gabby's lieutenant was gone with Gabby now back to being a paramedic, and Matt was clearly willing to go along with Gabby's insanity of wanting this foster kid. But, hey, they got married, so there's that answered. But: hell yes, Louie might actually be taken away by his father. Yes, please. So tired of this plot.
Speaking of Gabby being a paramedic again, why hasn't that been addressed again? She initially did it because of the problems with Jimmy, but he's long gone now. Stella came in and took the truck spot, but Gabby hasn't even complained about it or anything. Seems kind of strange, seeing as she was all gung ho about being (and staying) a firefighter.
My neck has been kind of itchy today, so seeing Severide with that shit on his neck was the opposite of what I needed. Made me scratch my own out of habit.
