Totally silly, over-the-top, and pretty badly acted. But a lot of fun to watch. Movies don't get much more American Suburbs in the 80s than this, so if you like that kind of scenario and don't need any believability, this is worth watching. A good family comedy (if the kids aren't too young) or one to watch with friends over a few drinks.
