So let me see if I got this right. There was an issue with a cargo bay door before this and despite an airworthiness directive the United plane still was not re-fitted two years later. Than there was another issue where a door opened on the ground years later because of a short. Makes you wonder why it takes so long to fix things, doesn't it ?
