I am a sucker for Wing Chun Kung Fu, I practice it myself - you can say I am a Wing Chunkie ;D
But this one... this one is trash.
It's not even anywhere near the first 3 movies - thumb's down.

The fight scenes are totally overexaggerated (cleary the were some wires involved) and not only that, they are speeded up & the camera is too close so you nearly can see $#!+.

The exploitation of the name "Ip Man" has to STOP!
He doesn't deserve this.

I havn't seen this but given that it's Wong Kar-Wai I expect an at least stylish looking film. The biggest problem is that he is sitting on a four hour+ cut so this might be the reason for some of your problems with it. I also don't think the intent was to exploit "Ip Man".. it isn't really in the title and it looks more like a passion project to me :o.
Did you see it on the big screen? As far as I know there is only one with hardcoded chinese subs around :I.

@sp1ti It looks stylish yes, but IMO it's not very well initiated (see second paragraph of my first comment).

The name "Ip Man" may not be in the title, but it surely exists in the desciption:
"The story of martial-arts master Ip Man, the man who trained Bruce Lee."
Unfortuantely it is an exploitation of his name - and this happend before... the name was "Bruce Lee". Remember all the crappy movies they puplished after his death!? It's just about profit.
And because of that the leading actor of the first two movies "Donnie Yen" refused to do any more Ip Man movies.

The real Yip Man didn't even want to be called Master or Grandmaster.
