It sure was interesting seeing Clark experience normal life, the joys of being able to play (and lose) a basketball game, as well as the pain of being thrown against a car. For a little while he managed to see how it was, but also realized that powers without a conscious can be problematic. Also, perfect timing, considering that this was what Lex needed to back off a little on trying to get what's Clark's deal.
