Pretty good episode. The prepper trope is one that I enjoy but I this isn't a great rendition of said trope. Not bad though. The whole relationship they've got going with Sherlock and the neurally atypical girl is fantastic. I was worried it would just be a weird one off and never come back up in the story. I was way wrong - not only it it coming back up, but Sherlock is actually being made to fight for her. Totally unexpected romance that is just about the best sub-plot going right now.

You see tho that's my problem, the show is just pretty much episode by episode at this point, and has none of the over arching plot that you can base a season around, no development of a story. You are correct when you say that Sherlocks new love interest is the best sub plot they have going, because it's literally the only plot that lasts more than one episode and isn't just a re-hash of someone trying to get away with murder in a smart way by blaming someone else. I dunno, my favorite season was the one with Moriarte, that was an interesting dynamic and placed someone at Sherlocks level that was working against him forcing him to pit whits. I dunno, this show is just kind of getting a tad stale without any actual development
