The cgi is absolutely stunning! However, the story moves super fast. The childish parts are a bit over the top as well.
A collection of cut scenes from the video game is like the inside of your phone: technically impressive but there's no real story.
So-so story with a not so good pacing, like most video game based-films, nice twist at the end. But what really kept me watching was the music. It’s Dragon Quest all the way! Go Kôichi Sugiyama!

Beautiful animation but the story felt very flat at times with more emphasis on the side stories than the main plot. Never played the game before I really like the plot twist at the end.
