Clare Danes delivers a remarkable performance as Temple in this multi Emmy and Golden Globe winning film.
Familiar with the Temple Grandin story this biopic is well scripted and hits all the highlights.
The support cast of Catherine O'Hare, Julia Ormond and an always solid David Strathairn are fantastic. The scene between Ormand and Strathairn when he first meets Temple is amazing.
"Nature is cruel but we don't have to be."
Wow, Claire Danes outdid herself with this performance. This is a beautiful story that not only shows how brilliant her invention was but it's also insightful and I love that we get her perspective on how she views things.
Autism isn’t a disability. Same human anatomy. Different operating system.
Beautiful movie. Is insane this movie doesn't have more recognition for being a "TV movie". This goes way beyond the quality of your average TV movie. Amazing performance by Claire Danes. Beautiful direction. Where other directors would have faces out protagonist with very awkward to watch encounters to show how difficult social relationships where for Temple, Mick Jackson hint us there with great empathy (being explicit and showing the worst is not always the best path to show someone's struggles!).
And once again, representation matters, and this is beautiful ASD representation.
Damn this is good, do yourself a favour and watch this flick. I love HBO.
Not my typical type of film but I thought it was easy to sit and watch. It’s an interesting story and the acting was well done. Worthwhile viewing.
I believe everyone should watch this movie.
Fantastic movie with some great performances.
Absolutely brilliant in every single way.
An epic performance by Danes and strong support actors delivers an amazing true story.
