Two friends, Kevin and Don, who are stranded in the middle of the sea in a tiny fishing boat. While stranded, the pair come across many people and bizarre occurrences.
The Beauregard family, much like their Mississippi mansion, is falling apart. Relics of the Old South, this dysfunctional clan sits in stark contrast to the modern crunk-fueled Dirty South that has grown up around their crumbling estate, Frenchmans Bend.
Mulvaney and Naphtlene are partners. He managed to escape from hell (Mulvaney), and she's straight from heaven (Naphtlene). Together they are an entertaining pair of "Midnight Meat Mop Detectives," or in terms that are easier to understand...demon hunters.
