Reiner was like an ATM machine at the festival, lol :joy:
Some good events happened, like Eren talking with his grandfather!!
"ohayoo Porco" this is a really nice scene.
10/10
Honestly I didn’t think Reiner and Eren would actually meet before some sort of attack happens. So when this episode’s promo showed that Reiner will be having an unexpected reunion, I never thought it would be literally just a face to face meeting with Eren! Those last few seconds were intense!!
Eren meeting his grandfather was a nice touch. But the insanity thing kind of surprised me because didn’t we see the grandfather welcoming Zeke in Episode 2 and he seemed fine at the time…
When talking to Eren, the grandfather mentioned that Falco’s uncle was a leader of the Eldian Restorationists, so I made a mental note to check if we have already seen this uncle (which I forgot by the end of the episode because of all the Reiner/Eren excitement). Anyway, I just read someone on Reddit mentioning this and pointing out who the uncle actually was and :exploding_head:Man, this anime just ties things beautifully!!
Willy Tybur seems like an interesting character. I feel like a lot info was dumped in his scenes, might have to rewatch that part…
So who has the War Hammer Titan? Willy seems like the obvious choice so I am guessing it is not him, maybe the blond woman? The kids seem very small and it can’t be the grandparents because whoever has it wouldn’t survive that long…
The whole episode and the festival feels like the calm before the storm.
Calm episode. Nothing interesting really happens until the end, could be fit into 1 sequence of 2 minutes. Wilbur and Reiner with Eren. I hope next chapters will have any action.
Maybe I will skip episodes until the first part of 4th season is finished to see them all at the same time. 20' chapters are so damn short.
Haven't really been enjoying the slow burn so far this season so I was pleasantly surprised by this episode. Looks like we're finally about to get into the action!
Hey they finally fixed the passing.
Damn, loaded dialogues big and small were flying left and right. I'm glad they managed to snuck in two guards, before the play. Willy sounded just right. Oh and thank god they spend so many scenes focusing on the Marley's warriors and Eldians in general.
Also Mappa did almost everything in their power to highlight important stuff for the future episodes. I'm hyped!
I know the last few episodes had been a slow burn, but we had those moments in past seasons, too. And the payoff... You won't be regretting spending some episodes on build-up.
Also the post-credit scene, the soundtrack (it's YouSeeBIGGIRL/T:T [Clash of the Titans] from the Reiner & Berthold reveal back in season 2!), those few lines... Literally goosebumps...
Btw you should watch the after credits coz .... mad

The introduction to Willy Tybur was great. Loved seeing the little warriors having fun. We got the iconic scene of Pieck crawling lol. Also liked the scene between Mr. Krueger and Mr. Jaeger, Eren’s just watching his grandpa break down. If only he knew Grisha had actually lived (until the man he’s talking to ate him). I also wonder if the woman from Hizuru who saved Udo is related to Mikasa?
WATCH THE POST-CREDIT SCENE! Reiner sees Eren!
