The acting is so bad, specially from Jaime. I'm shocked I have lasted this far...
Nearly halfway into the final season and barely anything has moved forward, lol. It may annoy some people that I keep bringing that up but it's the truth. And the lackluster building interiors that a lot of the season up to this point has taken place in are already tiring.
Now, we're also up to two episodes without Matthew. That is the biggest disservice and one I'm sure many would agree with. Whenever things start getting somewhere significant, if that will ever end up happening at this point, it better be worth it.
On the plus side, Kurt's hallucinations were pretty decent. It was a probable way to bring back significant characters or rather, the actors who played them. But I'm annoyed at the ending. It seems like a deviation from the main plot, even though that has barely been moved forward, which is even more annoying than that.
As I said, it better be worth it when this season starts picking up. I won't be holding my breath for that to happen, though. At the very least, I'd be pleasantly surprised if it does. But even if that does happen, I don't think there's any possible way for it be, and feel worth it to a sufficient degree. I feel like that's too much to ask/hope for.
To have more than five words: boring!
Man, the guy who plays Kurt is so unfathombly bad at acting here is laughable - really, he was having a profound hallucination of his murderous dad confroting him and I was just laughing at how corny his expressions looked when crying. Also, every episode looks the same - they discover something about Madeline's plan, go after it, something fucked up happens and they save each other once again - but not before a deep and emotional speech in the midst of a escape from mercenaries, where somehow there's 3 minutes for conversations and hugs to spare. Not even Rich and Patterson's usual humorous back and forths are hitting the spot anymore and that used to be the only salvageable thing about the last few seasons
Metoo movement has fucked this show up its ass. It’s made all the men in to a bunch of little bitches & all the women into men (but with no backstory). The whole Madilan story line is beyond stupidity. What were the writers thinking? And the studios for fucking this weak as plot of season 5 (as well as 4)? I don’t know why I’m still watching this train wreck.

Welcome to the last season of Blindspot, where you'll find action, familiar faces, chases, escapes, and a killer brought to justice. Aaaand the reality is the opposite.
Apparently, this season is focused on beating our expectations of what a season finale would be like.
Up to this point, when someone says "I'm going to Germany" I just think it's code to get in the next room. I appreciate the grim look, but they go from one bunker to another. It seems like they're trapped in the same place, but in different rooms.
I liked Jane' s stuff quite a lot. It was bloody, tense, graphic, I mean, what's threre not to like? Well, maybe the whole "wounded person talks others on how to operate on her" cliche. I was only missing the fit of whisky before the surgery.
Now, let's move to the whole Kurt nightmare stuff. If he hallucinate, I would've expected someone else. Like Shepherd. I didn't really care about the whole Oscar ghost. Like, he was in like a couple episodes back in season 1. He wasn't such a big deal. I barely remember anything about him except being Jane's fiancee, him giving her a pen and Jane killing him.
I enjoyed Kurt's dad. I always found Taylor Shawn's storyline very interesting from the get-go. I liked that they explained a little bit more why he killed Taylor. I always thought his dad sexually assaulted her and he killed her by accident. Also, I loved seeing Kurt so vulnerable and seeing everyone he's killed.
One question though, what the hell was that "you're a killer" Kurt's dad said? I know that it was tense but I couldn't help laughing.
That ending set us on the same track yet again. This is an 11-episode season. One would've thought there's no time to waste. But apparently, we're gonna look for some paintings next episode. I'd
At this point, they'll catch Madeline on a technicality, like Capone and taxes. Something that'll look like a waste of a season.
