If you thought the series jumped the shark after Prue died, then this dumpster fire of a season will really clinch the deal. Everything devolved and screamed "We're tired of doing this, but we need to try to plug spin-offs for future series' to keep the people behind the scenes employed." The introduction from left field of Billie and Christie were nothing more than spin-off material and the hopes of the Charmed Ones offspring played with the fanbase were the Hail Mary attempt to keep the franchise alive. Obviously the writers hit the wall with their imagination and the show quickly circled the drain.
The storylines are stale, no great evil remains, so you are forced to endure a cascade of minor-level demons looking to capitalize on the power vacuum, Magic School closes and gets occupied by Evil, Leo becomes the Han Solo of San Francisco and the sisters continue to never find happiness and suffer through continual designer costume changes while never experiencing true relational happiness.
Unless you are one of those OCD people who need to complete everything, like me, STOP at season 7. It ended as the series should have without the inclusion of the train wreck commonly known as Season 8.

Without a doubt the worst of the Charmed seasons. It even has a new theme song, which is awful. They could have ended the show after Season 7 but alas, we get "Billie" who is as dumb as a brick (not in a funny way) and "Christy" who is annoying every single second she is on screen. Alongside that we get new demons that look the same every episode because hey, they just keep killing themselves anyway so whatever moves the plot (ha!) along. The middle episodes are at times frustrating and cringeworthy to watch and the season often moves forward with subplots that are just there because they know it's the final season. If you don't feel up to it, you can totally skip this and assume everything ended with Season 7. That was a good ending.
