Both the case about the husband secretly feeding his wife behind her back, and that Maggie and Ben were going to stay with the kid, were super predictable and obvious from the start.
Bert divorced Sharon for literally no good reason, and the only reason he's back is because the woman he shacked up with died. The son's anger is completely justified, and I don't think he should let it go.
